It is useful in sharing information on experiences and recommendations. But one should not rely on half baked and unproven treatments in diabetes forums. Offer suggestions but never try to commercialise the web taking advantage of innocents who are searchiong for chepar remedies.

Sir, No doctor will recommend carbs to a diabetes man.He is qualified and authorised. Inmy observation, making people to believe a only method for diabetes management is not correct.Your low carb and high fat theory may be right but you must not say others are wrong. Preaching is no harm, but you will find almost there are local drug vendors who offer 100% cure. Do you believe in it? and yours too is insisting(not comerecialising of course) only to follow you with Low carb, high fat theory is acceprable but not practicable because 100 grms of living with cooked rice is not possible with a damaged liver to be asked to saturate high fats for digestion.

Some one follow you or not, I appreciate your dedication in the eradication of diabetes. Once in every 2 months I was carrying 50 AED in my pocket to visit a doctor and get diagnoised and get medicines. (I am in Abu Dhabi having medical insurance which is mandatory to stamp/renew visa here).From this april onwards I have to carry more or less 750 AED in my pocket to visit my doctor , diagnose and for medicines. Because this year our company selected a new medical insurance company to get insured all its employees more or less 9000 employees and it is the scheme our company selected from them. Please guess the number of people who are going to be benefitted. When I asked our company Insurance department (who selects the Insurer) that is there no other insurer who give free diagnosis and medicine the reply was surprising. She replied me STILL I AM BENEFITTING. I tried my lel best to make her understand the difference between 50 AED and 750 AED for an individual. In private hospitals they wait for Insurance card holders to loot the Insurance company. What a world we took birth in?.................create the sicks, give him poison, loot him and kill him..........rather shoot him with a bullet....................We have to go back to our forest life better for peaceful, happier, healthy and enjoyable life............

Kindly suggest food items which are low carb high fat and quantity in which these should be taken. I m 10 yr old diabatic on insulin.
