Scientific evidence has proved that alcohol may decrease your likelihood of sticking to a diet, medication or exercise plan.

So, consult with your doctor before indulging in alcohol. If you do consume alcohol, make sure you take twice the care to ensure you stick to your diabetes management

YOU MAY BE RIGHT BUT ONLY BRANDY IS SUGGESTED BY THE RESEARCHERS BASED IN AUSTRALIA.

BUT AUSTRALIA IS BOUND TO BE COLD. THE ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN WHAT IT IS IN INDIA. ALSO THE CONSUMPTION HABIT IS DIFFERENT i.e. there THEY HAVE HIGH CALORIE FOOD.

WE INDIANS RELY TOO MUCH ON RICE, ATTA AND PULSES.

VEGETARIAN FOOD IS GOOD BUT NOT OVER COOKED.

TRY TO AVOID INTAKE OF NON-VEGGIES.

MY HUMBLE SUGGESTION IS TO FOLLOW THE BELOW MENTION ROUTINE

just walk briskly for 30 minutes daily. preferably 6 AM.

keep vigil over your blood sugar.

break your meals to 6 meals a day. i.e. 4 times a day but less quantity. there should be a feeling of hunger left.

keep your doctor posted atleast every month. preferably twice a month.

try to control your emotions and do not get stressed up.

drink lost of water 6 ltrs. minimum.

ensure to attend to your natures call immediately, do not delay.

TAKE YOUR MEDICATION ON TIME.

IF YOU SMOKE OR DRINK PLEASE QUIT IMMEDIATELY.

PRAY TO GOD.

ALL THE BEST.

I agree with the above comments. However brisk walking for 40 minutes is OK and more than than is good provided you can sustain and dont feel tired

Dear Bankey Bihari ji,

I will suggest that you include lots of green vegetable such as cucumber, carrots, spinach, Methi etc and ensure taking some fruits like papaya daily. As a matter of fact include insoluble and soluble fibre in your diet. Take only whole grain atta preferably multigrain. Take lot of water say minimum 6- litres every day. Include Oats in your diet. Please ensure taking milk with Isabgol otherwise it may sometimes cause dryness in stool and may lead to piles. I hope by above you will be able to get rid of this problem. You can also try Softovax (Sugarfree) specially made for diabetics. It contains Isabgol with other Ayurvedic medicines and herbs.
