Father is diabetic(Type1) what are the chances that the daughter or grand son getting diabetic?

If mother too is type 1 it is 100% chance. If father alone is diabetes, it is????? not 50 % but 75% chance. Grand sons and garnd daughters are also to be put in the same lines., depending on thier parents' condition.

Sure .I know type 1 is always 95% hereditary and only 5% due to illfomation of pancreas.I have come across several cases. Do not preach me.with half knowledge.Read diabetes books to know more.

Most of the cases, it is hereditary My father and his relatives as well as my mother and her relatives were diabetes, so am I and my brothers and sistres. Read more before declaring any thing..

daibtic is mainly due to eating more sedantory life environmental and also heriditory allcontribute in dovloping daibetes

if he had 4 sones two are free from sugar onewill prone to daibitic or carrier one will get daibtic
