Diabetic neuropathy

My mother has a burning sensation in all the body. she has diabetic 2 from more than 20 years. Can you suggest some Ayurvedic or home remedies for the treatment or lowering this burning sensation? waiting for your kind reply.

I do not know any Ayurvedic or home medicine for diabetic peripheral neuropathy.There is one anti oxidant which is very commonly used for the condition.It is called alpha lipoid acid.It is available in medicine shops without prescription.You can start with 600 mg daily and then reduce it to 300 mg per day.Please do not use it if you have thyroid problem.

Not to used if pregnant,breast feeding,using excess of alcohol.Check blood sugar levels, might lower it
