He's also been on
Desvenlafaxine
50mg for about 15 years and although it didn't cause bad legs in the beginning, wonders if it's contributing. Here you can't be prescribed the 'safe' ones unless you're giving up smoking!

antidepressants and physical fitness
I have been stable on 150mg
Desvenlafaxine
and 300 mg Bupropion with literally no side effects for a few years. But I have noticed that I keep on getting joint related injuries in the gym. It started with the tennis elbow in both arms which keeps on coming back every few months.

SSRIs versus SNRIs for Depression and Anxiety
Would anyone like to share their experiences with
desvenlafaxine
(Pristiq) or venlafaxine (Effexor)? Could a benzodiazepine like clonazepam counteract or block the side effects, if they were to occur?

Cool science
I’m excited to switch over to the
desvenlafaxine
(brand name Pristiq in USA) to see how much better I can feel.

Switch from Celexa (citalopram- SSRI) to Pristiq (desvenlafaxine- SSNRI)
Over the course of the past week I have been taking a half dose of my usual Celexa and a half dose of Pristiq to gradually switch over from the old to the new med. I was really worried I was going to go through another difficult adjustment period like I did when I started the Celexa a few months ago.
