Hello I am currently on Desvenlafaxine 25mg it has been about a month of me taking it and these past two weeks have been bad! I feel very depressed I am so unhappy nothing interest me nothing motivates me! Sometimes I feel like why am I so unhappy and depressed if I didn’t do anything wrong its just thoughts then my mind tells me what If I did do something wrong and I don’t remember and of course I would never and have never done anything wrong! Someone please tell me if they have experienced this and if they have taken Desvenlafaxine? I am really unhappy and have almost no reasons why ! I am currently staying at my boyfriends parents home I have a small room there I thought maybe I was unhappy at my house because my mom is not that supportive maybe I will be happy here and honestly I feel like if I move anywhere its not the places its me that I am unhappy I am the problem. I pray daily to find strength in God but sometimes I just can’t and thinking maybe that everything might be better if I wasn’t here. How do I find happiness. Also one question I have been reading about CBD oil is this helpful? Has anybody used it? Thanks in advance.

It could help to stay at your boyfriend's parents place for a while at least, if only because your mother is not supportive. Having sympathetic and supportive people around you is a great help in itself.
Keep on with the current medication, as they can take a while to kick in and make you feel worse before you feel better. But if things don't improve over the next couple of weeks, then talk to your doctor/psychiatrist/therapist.
In one sense you're right, it isn't just about the places you are living in. It's important as well to be in a good place in your head! But give yourself a break, take things easy as possible, and when you start to feel better, your interest in things will gradually return to you.
I'm sure that you haven't done anything wrong. It's just the OCD telling you that, and OCD is like an abusive 'friend' who constantly has a go at you.
How to find happiness? It's been said that happiness just happens to you when you're busy doing other things! Meanwhile try to be patient with yourself and don't beat yourself up.
I don't know about CBD oil, having never tried it! It may be of help, but I just don't know.
Thank you so much you are always so helpful! I love that you answer on my posts! I have seen that you don't write your own posts what type of ocd do you experience if I may know?
I've had OCD for many years, severe enough to affect me day to day since I was about twenty but I can date it back to childhood.
I often find myself doing things over and over just until it feels 'right', including retracing my steps when I'm out, or even in the house! I also do things in a particular order, or on particular days of the week and so on. I manage to function fairly well on the whole, but it's a horrible thing to have.
Thanks for your nice words!
Hello there. I feel exactly like you. These meds take ages to work but do eventually. It's tough waiting. I have tried cannabis oil. Helps a little bit for anxiety but certainly wouldn't work alone without meds.X
I have found 2 things that are VERY helpful for ocd, anxiety and depression! Saffron oil, and CBD oil 500 mg full spectrum.... I have turned the corner big time... Nice to feel happiness again!
HI! Thanks for the tip! Do you take any medications? How do these oils make you feel different? Any side effects to them?
I have found with the CBD Oil that I bought from Holland & Barratt did help me soothe my symptoms and I found it very strong, I had the 5%+ strength. I am not using it anymore due to headaches and not sleeping well. If you buy it from somewhere where it's more pure then it may work better than if you buy it from a shop.
It sounds like you have “Pure OCD”/Intrusive thoughts. One of my kids has this dx and has been successfully treated with fluvoxamine (Luvox) and Abilify (very small dose) for breakthrough thoughts. 7 yrs & no problems.
