This is rather long so I wasn’t sure whether to bother but so pleased I did. I recommend that everyone watches it! Lots of interesting results and studies.

I thought I would give it a few minutes and ended up listening to all of it. She offers more choices for lifestyle change to help PWP. Something to think about. Thanks for posting.

Blackfeather, thank you so much for posting this video. I've been aware that this study was in progress, but I hadn't seen the interim report yet. For any who aren't familiar with the study, it's being conducted by Bastyr University in Washington state, which is an accredited alternative and natural health university. I believe the study is scheduled to run for 5 or 6 years, and this is an interim report. The study collects data, via an on-line questionnaire, from PWP about their diets, supplements, exercise programs, and other life style areas, and tries to determine if there are patterns to what PWP do to either slow down or speed up the progression of PD. The above video said that currently, they have 1,800 participants in the study, and they are still open to more participants. This interim report gives some good information. I'm hopeful that when the study is complete, it will give many of us some concrete information that we've been looking for as to how to proceed with taking responsibility for our part of our healthcare.

Thanks again, Blackfeather.

Laurie is a real asset to the PD community, lots of really good research based information that we can all apply to our daily lives. I will also mention that she does personal consultation via Skype for those who aren't near her practice in Seattle, Washington USA. I am thankful that she does this, as I'm client of hers.
