in 2009 I had breast cancer surgery double mastectomy but I didn’t have to have radiation or chemo. I do think the anesthesia makes tremors a little worse but they eventually adapt. I can’t really answer your question, but I wanted to just give you some feedback. 🥊

Can Dopamine Treat Breast Cancer?

articles.mercola.com/sites/...

Very interesting reading! Who knew Selegiline, an antidepressant that belongs to a class of drugs called monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors, might be effective as an anticancer therapeutic for breast cancer.

hi Cleo, I had breast cancer in 2021 and was started on tamoxifen which threw me into menopause. Unfortunately, with the depletion of estrogen I also experienced a rapid change in Parkinson’s related symptoms… it’s been a journey but I am now working with my PC, neurologist and women’s health specialist and have finally begun feeling more like myself- I am reluctant to share my personal experience because what works for me may not be what works best for you- however, if u have access to a women’s health physician who specializes in menopause I strongly encourage you to contact her and discuss your options- it has been a game changer for me-

Kindly,

Jen

Hello stranger. Good to see you back. Did you ever do that walk round Mont Blanc?

Good Morning! Yes!! And it was amazing! My daughter and I started in Courmayeur and ended In Chamonix. 67.3 miles. We completed the half trek in 6 days. The first 2 days were so challenging- especially the decent (I was very concerned about falling). But once I acclimated and figured out how to handle my trek poles properly things went better. I took it slow and moment to moment on many of the switchbacks. It really was just amazing and truly helped me to change my mindset about self set limitations due to the PD. I am very thankful for the experience and am busy planning for my next trex! I’m considering the Western Highlands or Norway… the pic I attached is of the border between Italy and Switzerland- the contrast between the 2 was amazing. The ascent up to the Val from Ellana was rugged and steep- downhill into Switzerland was filled with beautiful flowers, pastures and ringing cow bells- surreal - thanks so much for asking! Hope you are doing well..

I've read that stress can worsen Parkinson's. Cancer diagnosis and treatment sounds pretty stressful.

I hope things improve for you now, Cleo16
