Association of cholesterol level with dopamine loss and motor deficits in Parkinson's disease: A cross-sectional study

Conclusions: This study suggests that TC levels affect parkinsonian motor symptoms, especially in low cholesterol status, while the severity of axial motor symptoms is negatively associated with TC levels only in statin users.

Stay away from statins.

Thats one med i totally refused to take even though my cholesterol was high. Red yeast rice and beetroot slowly reduced it. They tried so many times to put me on those cursed statins!
