I may have been exposed to COVID and can’t find anything specific about interactions between Paxlovid and Carbidopa/levodopa (sinemet). I’m not sure I will take it even if I do come down with COVID, but I’m trying to be proactive.

Agree with Smittybear7 check with pharmacist; can not take with most heart meds. Although the rebound covid is real (from paxlovid), i.e. Biden, Fauci. I know of several cases locally where folks had a rebound of covid after taking paxlovid. They are all fine now. We had it twice, HWP PD symptoms temporarily got worse, biggest problem was faitigue. We were not that sick.
I recently had Covid and because of my PD my doctor strongly recommended I take Paxlovid. So I did. I had no adverse reaction. But my Covid did rebound after about five days of supposed cure and negative testing.
Go to the the University of Liverpool covid interactions website. A bit tricky but basically you choose the drug (paxlovid) and enter the drugs you are on and it brings up a color coded list of interactions and recommendations
I was given an infusion of monoclonal antibody in place of paxlovid. I was told paxlovid not good with Parkinson’s drugs.
