Stack???

kaypeeoh profile image
12 Replies

I've only read of of the term, 'stack' in the content of body builders. I'm taking all of the meds in this photo, Plus two more in the bathroom medicine cabinet. It gets to be a pain as some are taken on an empty stomach and some require eating first.

When does it become ridiculous?

TIA,

kpo

That should be 'context"

Seems like an awful lot. Do you see any improvements from each one? If not, slowly take each one away and see if they make any differences. Some of them could be playing against each other?? Some of them might help others but may not help you.

I have counted 22 bottles in the photo and you mentioned you take 2 more.

This is just a bit of fun but if i took that many i think I'd die.

So far im taking 8. Prescription and supplements.

I think thats about my limit lol.

My PWP takes about the same amount, although I tend to rotate them for him. I often think about cutting some out but worry that he will need them and so become worse. I guess I could follow laglag's suggestion and cut them out one at a time over a period of time.

"When does it become ridiculous? "

To me, it seems that you're well beyond that threshold.

Now how much of that stack makes a tangible difference to your symptoms?

I can't tell. I don't have "off" periods. The neuro says she can tell that I walk better than before starting meds. My main fear is executive function problems. A different neuro did tests, mostly stupid tests on paper like drawing a clock set at 2:20 and running a maze, again on paper, same as childhood games. Most of the pills are because someone said they help brain function.

Hi kaypeeoh, I have never seen Rytary come in that kind of packaging. Is that a sample?

Never mind the other comments. Mine is a lot more because of have both diabetes and Parkinson's. Hopefully I will get off some of them depending on how my remission program goes.

HWP takes about 23 supplements - I have small red shot glasses and stack the supplements in those. He has a shot - in the morning, another in afternoon, and one in evening. The ones in the evening help with sleep. B1 is split between morning and afternoon.
