PWP Covid Vaccine!!

Chicafromchitown profile image

I had my second vaccine (Pfizer ) last Tuesday by Thursday I’ve started noticing that my tremors/symptoms were getting worst, prior to getting vaccinated I was doing good as far as controlling symptoms. Has anyone gone through the same upon receiving Covid Vaccine??

@chicafromcgitown, I experienced increased tremors for a few days and sometimes out of the blue. One moment I am all fine and the next moment, i am shaking like a leaf😭

Give it a week and you will be fine.

Like you but I have got rubber legs after shot number 1. Can't imagine what number 2 will be like.

Would not bother with number 2. Even one dose is protective. Still think that these rushed vaccines have not had enough time to prove safety.

Please take the advice of your medical team on this matter.

You may feel awful for a short while (I did) but it passes after about 24 hours.

We had the AZ jab. I have been hardly affected, although maybe tremor and slow movement typing were maybe a bit worse (they have random bad days anyway). Our pharmacist, who administered the jabs suggested we avoid strenuous exercise for 10 days after he "locked up completely" due to cycling, (he had the Pfizer jab)

Sue had a rough 48 hours - hot, cold, weak, tired, sore arm. She's better now. I don't even have a sore arm - and strimmed our grounds all day yesterday.

I think you have to expect the possibility of some effects for the first 48 hours, and to a lesser extent 10 days, when your body is flat out making antibodies.

I had nothing but a sore arm after the first shot (Moderna) that lasted about four days. 10-12 hours after the second shot I felt AWFUL, I couldn’t get comfortable, feverish and just overall miserable including increased dystonia. But after about 24-30 hours I was back to “normal,” with no increased symptoms at all.

Sore arm but no vaccine-Pfizer- side effects at all.

I had a rather extreme and delayed response to the Moderna vaccine. Initially sore arm and extreme fatigue that lasted about two days. I then developed symptoms that included low-grade fevers at night, night sweats, and dailiy fatigue. That all lasted about four weeks. I’m two months out now and all symptoms have resolved. No more fevers or night sweats. Exercise tolerance is back. I’m grateful to have gotten the shot and being out of the woods. I have heard of others having delayed responses such as mine. Not very common, but it does happen.

.Hi I had the first Pfizer and two days later felt terrible like I had flu messsed with effectiveness of my meds big time was unwell with worsening pd symptoms for about a week, felt back to normal after that.

Hope this helps

My theory is that my symptoms are worse after receiving injections for a couple of reasons. Doses are not based on weight. 115 pound person and 250 pound person get same dose. Second, I was panicked when I got second dose. Seems having a rapidly pounding heart would effect the absorption of the vaccine, especially extended release meds.

I had the reverse after both shots. Tremors, and arm/finger ridgety disappeared for 4 days and still not bad. I took 1 sine met a day just to be safe. However I felt like I had the flu day 1 and had much difficulty moving positions. It's day 4 now and feeling much better.
