Any PWP’s get the vaccine and what were the side effects if any? I’ve been a little apprehensive about getting it.

Astra-Zeneca yesterday. Knocked me about a bit to tell the truth. Really achy muscles during the night but better than catching the disease eh?

Yup, much better

Jeeves, was that the one shot deal? So hopefully you won’t have to have another one? If it is the single shot maybe that’s why it was so brutal. I’m glad you got it over with though.

No it was the 2 shot one. Maybe I’m just a bit delicate ?😂

Ha!!! Maybe not. Maybe you just have an amazing immune system. When it saw a scrap of Coronavirus, it rose up and snarled.😀👍

Astra-Zeneca last Saturday. Fever and head ache for 24 hours, then tired for a few days. Better now. I hear AZ leads to more side effects than the others. Apparently the younger you are, the more likely you are to get side effects. I also like to think a reaction shows a strong immune system! The second dose is not supposed to cause as much reaction as dose one.

I asked my neurologist before doing it. Got my 2nd shot of Pfizer vaccine on Wednesday. No issues to report. My youngest daughter had vaccine few days before I got mine. She was feeling bad for 48 hours. My older daughter had the virus and she was miserable for 3 weeks and still has issues

No side effects whatsoever from the Astra Zeneca - didn’t even feel the skin puncture.

Two of my children 49 and 54 both got sick for two days with temperatures reaching 104 F.It shows that their immune systems are working according to the doctor. Those with the worst side effects are those who would really get sick if they caught the virus. If no response at all, that is an issue.

Only a sore arm after the first Moderna injection. The second injection knocked me on my ass the day following injection—headache, body aches and pain lifting my arm. The following day I felt much better.

"Story at-a-glance

The COVID-19 vaccine really isn’t a vaccine in the medical definition of a vaccine. It’s more accurately an experimental gene therapy that could prematurely kill large amounts of the population and disable exponentially more

Since mRNA normally rapidly degrades, it must be complexed with lipids or polymers. COVID-19 vaccines use PEGylated lipid nanoparticles, and PEG is known to cause anaphylaxis

Free mRNA can signal danger to your immune system and drive inflammatory diseases. As such, injecting synthetic thermostable mRNA (mRNA that is resistant to breaking down) is highly problematic as it can fuel chronic, long-term inflammation

Many commonly reported side effects from the COVID-19 gene therapy “vaccines” appear to be caused by brain inflammation

Anyone with an inflammatory disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson's disease or chronic Lyme and those with acquired immune deficiency/dysfunction from any microbial pathogen, brain trauma or environmental toxin are at high risk of dying from COVID-19 mRNA vaccines."

You are very welcome! My mom died from the flu shot side effects and my sister had an anaphylaxis side effect. As a result, I am AGAINST any vaccination.

Good to hear you’re all ok! If any of you are in the UK, did you fall into the clinically extremely vulnerable group? Or group 6 moderately vulnerable With underlying health conditions? I was only diagnosed 18months ago, so don’t know how far advanced the disease needs to be before you get offered the jab? I have other health conditions as well, but haven’t heard anything. I guess will come into the over 50s age group If not!

This thread does have a hint of survivorship bias! Looking forward to hearing from Marc who has been worryingly quiet since taking his vaccine.

Here is an article written by a former Harvard Medical School professor who has founded more than a dozen biotechnology companies. He also serves as chair and president of the global health think tank Access Health International:

Also, the following statement has been posted on WHO website on 1/26/21:

"We do not know whether the vaccine will prevent infection and protect against onward transmission. Immunity persists for several months, but the full duration is not yet known. These important questions are being studied."
