Hi! This is my first post. DBS assessment - Has anyone had the same result as my brain MRI test below? If so, what are your symptoms?

Yes I had same MRI result.Mu neurologist said,the result is very common with people that has parkinson's disease.

Thank you. Any symptoms related to it? Or any treatments? It seems the last few days I’m getting slower movement, body feels heavy, just difficulty moving around the house. I’m 87 lbs, 70yrs old. I notice I struggle with my thoughts, what to say and trying to remember what I wanted to say. How about you?

I would agree with your neuro. I believe WMD is very common with late stage PD in the form of Lewy Body dementia (similar to ALZ). It is also probable it is more highly correlated with CVD morbidities and age associated with PD. However, WMD is not unique to PD (as with Essential Tremor).

I don't think a treatments exists although I would imagine some ALZ drugs might help as well as a specific diet tailored to ALZ.
