Bacillus licheniformis
Highly recommend to read about this bacteria.
Only began taking it and have great results:
Constipation - gone on the day 1
Overal improvent in symptoms
Reduction in 1/4 medication & supplements
Interesting. Would you please elaborate further?
Hi, please have a look: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/951...
Hi Bear1927 , I was looking for elaboration of your symptom improvements. For example, when did you start taking it? At what dose? Chronological list of improvements and its timelines? etc.
I mean, your success story...
Your story is eagerly awaited... Including your diet, exercise and medicine regime please
Which Bacillus licheniformis supplement are you taking please?
bag of 10 costs around £1
Are you taking this probiotic for dogs? Please let us know what is the human equivalent doses and the method of taking it?
I don't mind changing my diet to dog food if it helps with symptom reduction...
A search found this: ( note the source: China 😒)
tangsonsbio.com/product-47-...
Interesting description of it's many uses.
yes, since Biosporin is unavailable.
I take 3 pills a day and aim to take 5 a day next week.
Ideally it should be 1pill per every 10kg.
Thank you. Do the packets you have shown contain pill or powder form? Also does it contain any other ingredients and probiotic strains?
Description
Probiotox probiotic is a mixture of probiotic cultures Bacillus licheniformis VK-25 and Bacillus subllis MK-3
Subtilis was known to be beneficial for PD as per previous study. Maybe the licheniformis subtilis combo is better?
it feels like combo is doing a good job
We had a Ambroxol manufacturer pushing for Ambroxol in these forums earlier.
Unless you tell us what else are you doing, it will not give us the entire picture.
General question to all: would you trust something from India? there are a lot of links online for Bacillus licheniformis from India. Here is one of them: m.indiamart.com/proddetail/...
I would NOT trust ANYTHING from India or China, (foreign country) that I have to ... S W A L L O W.
Thanks for the advice bro… Wish I could find where I can buy the stuff! The people on this website are amazing… With the stuff they figure out and how they are able to acquire it.
advice for buying supplements:
1. make sure the label reads: MADE IN THE USA
2. WATCH OUT for this: MADE IN THE USA (tiny print) from globally sourced ingredients
3. only buy (if possible) a bottle labeled with: GMP (good manufacturing process)
-----------------------------------------------
despite all of that ... vitamin manufacturers still SCREW US with false labeling
please where can I buy your 10 bags for 1L , I have looked for days online some very expense, many always say they are better, I read little bags are best and keep freshness. thanks clark
I contacted the manufacturer of Probiotox, they said that they only deliver throughout Ukraine
Biosporin is available on some Polish website which I could not read.
biotusnew.pl/biosporin-prob...
that's weird, huh?
"Ukraine" ???
I heard somewhere there's this little war going on ....
yes, there is war there, and the factory that makes these pills is based right on the borderline. Also, there was a Xenon Gas plant in Mariupol: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl....
is this the same as Bacillus Coagulans?
there are a ZILLION of these bacteria that start with the name "bacillus"
no, its called Bacillus Licheniformis
I can't find the pic you shared anywhere but I found this en.angelyeast.com/products/...
Where were you able to buy this?
at the pet store in Ukraine.I'm trying to find something similiar in London, but I think there must be some online vet/pet store that sells it.
I found a product on Amazon that includes licheniformis it’s called MegaSporeBiotic by Microbiome labs pricey
I googled 'bacillus licheniformis' and got this:
"Bacillus licheniformis is recognized as a human pathogen causing infections, mainly in immunocompromised patients."
"B. licheniformis has been found to be the causative agent of ventriculitis, ophthalmitis, bacteremia, peritonitis, and endocarditis."
Not bacteria per se. Endotoxins from bacteria. I've been researching NP001 sodium chlorite. A P3 clinical trial is ramping up for ALS. What's good for one NDD is good for the others.
Sodium chlorite is a therapy I would use. Sodium Chlorite restores the balance between macrophages that initiate inflammation and those that promote wound healing.
Why this matters. Neuroinflammation is an inflammatory response in the central nervous system involving microglia, astrocytes, and cytokines including chemokines. It's considered an important cause of neurodegerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and ALS.
Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) is an immunogenic particle in the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria. It's a major triggering factor for the inflammatory cascade in response to a Gram-negative bacteria infection.
The question, is pathogenesis associated with LPS exposure, especially in the field of neuroinflammation involved in neurodegenerative diseases? I don't know the answer, but targeting neuroinflammation with sodium chlorite looks promising.
Of course older research on this has been buried by the search engines.

PS: I wish the ALS community was as progressive as this one.
I want to add that the bacteria/endotoxins cause an inflammatory response involved in neuroinflammation. This can only happen with an impaired immune system. The bacteria are opportunistic - they're taking advantage of a favorable environment. This is where terrain theory of disease comes into play. Make the environment hostile to the bacteria.
Neurodegenerative diseases are necessarily neuroimmune diseases.
Supplementing synthetic dopamine only treats the symptom and long term use has the consequence of Lewy Body Dementia. It's best used as an interim therapy while you work on healing an impaired immune system and an injured nervous system.
Focus needs to be on repairing the immune system. This is within our power to do. ALS research has demonstrated T-cell involvement. It would behoove us all to take a broader approach in researching these interconnected neuroimmune neurodegenerative diseases.
My mother lived with PD for 26 years. I've lived with ALS for 9 years (dx in 2019). Most of us had symptoms years before diagnosis.
ALS is a toxic syndrome, so are AD, PD and their variants. Toxins weaken the immune system. Detoxification is an important component of any healing protocol. There is no quick fix, you have to do the work and change your lifestyle. No pill is going to fix this.

Abstract
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is known as a progressive paralysis disorder characterized by degeneration of upper and lower motor neurons, and has an average survival time of three to five years. Growing evidence has suggested a bidirectional link between gut microbiota and neurodegeneration. Here we aimed to report one female case with ALS, who benefited from washed microbiota transplantation (WMT), an improved fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT), through a transendoscopic enteral tube during a 12-month follow-up. Notedly, the accidental scalp trauma the patient suffered later was treated with prescribed antibiotics that caused ALS deterioration. The subsequent rescue WMTs successfully stopped the progression of the disease with a quick improvement. The plateaus and reversals occurred during the whole course of WMT. The stool and blood samples from the first WMT to the last were collected for dynamic microbial and metabolomic analysis. We observed the microbial and metabolomic changing trend consistent with the disease status. This case report for the first time shows the direct clinical evidence on using WMT for treating ALS, indicating that WMT may be the novel treatment strategy for controlling this so-called incurable disease.
i just went to amazon to search for "sodium chlorite" -- but it's very confusing .... many products listed there ... and they look like they are for "industrial" use? ...
Would you be so kind to send all of us a link to your preferred choice of "sodium chlorite" product? Thanks so much!
Biogenic Foods sells sodium chlorite -80% 1gm package $2.50
"sodium chlorite" sounds a lot like sodium hypochlorite? Also known as Bleach. The difference is one less oxygen ion making it 'hypo'.
biogenicfoods.com/sodium-ch...
thanks for the good link but still VERY unsure about all this... your opinion?
SE, do you have any specific recommendations for sodium chlorite supplements? Or a link you can recommend? I see that it’s “not supposed to be ingested“ according to the powers that be…
This is what I bought from Amazon. Chlorine Dioxide Kit 2 Part Liquid Classic 1:1 Set Citric Acid 50% : Sodium Solution (4oz) a.co/d/2KVyxSy
Sodium Chlorite is very alkaline and needs a buffer. Been doing a deep dive into mycotoxins and NDD. The antidote is sodium chlorite.
PS: If anyone here is on statins you might want to investigate for the presence of mycotoxins.
I doubt that it's down to one bacterium, more likely that it's down to multiple bacteria in the microboime or fungal infections which indicates that diet is ultra important in fighting PD or any of the neurodegenerative diseases.
A early association with PD was constipation. Then an early treatment for PD was Vagus nerve resection Which cycles back to the idea that the root cause of PD is intestinal dysfunction.
everyone ... look to buy "SBO" (soil based orgnaisms) probiotics ... I did a lot of research on that and these are "special probiotics" that you have shop hard to find ... but well worth it ...
and also look for 'MADE IN THE USA' label but BEWARE the tiny print: "Globally Source" = China, India ... wherever ...
and look for the GMP on the bottle = Good Manufacturing Practice
Did you end up finding a source that you could share here please?
you know i did find exactly 'one' on amazon ... but did not order it ... when i checked my 'cart' ... i can't narrow it down yet as to which SBO probiotic made in the usa ... it was ... will get back to you
I got ya, just bought from Amazon. This brand is top quality and no fillers. Four Leaf Rover Protect -... amazon.com/dp/B07YN897QP?re...
LPS: In college there was a guy working on his master's degree. Part of his study was looking at how LPS affected mice. He grew E. Coli then purified LPS . And found LPS was fatal when injected into mice. I was told to reproduce his LPS studies. I followed this recipe for LPS production but was unable to kill mice with it. So I repeated the process a second time. And again was unable to kill mice by injecting the LPS intra-peritoneally. So I didn't get an "A" and missed graduating cum laude. But I got into vet medical school anyway. There I talked with a microbiologist who told me the toxic component in LPS is the lipid. The distillation process I'd been following included an alcohol wash. The alcohol dissolved lipid leaving just poylsaccaride, SO I was injecting polysaccaride and not injecting lipid into the mice. And not killing them.
When I'm reading studies I keep that in mind, that people will falsify data if it suits their purpose.
