Has anyone tried Fatty15? What’s your results? Me: Just 10 days and so far, undecided.

I saw a post of someone trying Fatty15, I replied kind of expensive and asked how is it working for you? He replied, I am trying other supplements too, not sure and for now I plan to keep taking.

Supposedly, better sleep. Also, it is supposedly good for PD.

discoverc15.com/

Today I sent Fatty15: (for 7 days my sleep was less and Day 10 my mood seems better!!!)

Still too early to be positive (day 10 Fatty15), but for the last 3 days by sleep has been increasing, still not where it was before Fatty15.

Last night was the first time ever (at least as long as I can recall) - I slept more than 7 hours without getting up to urinate 5 times.

Has anyone else commented, “not having to get up to use the restroom as often”?

They replied, I am happy to hear that your sleep patterns may be starting to return to normal! We have had some customers share that they experience deeper sleep, so this may explain why you are not waking up as often! Please stay in touch and reach out with any questions.

Note: I am currently also taking a supplement (299V, today was Day 28) that I quit once before because of sleep problems. I will stop it again, but continue Fatty15. healthunlocked.com/cure-par...

Author of that is cofounder of Fatty15. Same for all that I have found.

Not saying "Not True", just conflict of interest, and bias.

definitely something to consider!

I had a doctor (saw him re: my osteoporosis) suggest it to me last month. I've seen a lot of ads but haven't had time to research it yet.

I would like to find some info that doesn't have "Stephanie Venn-Watson" (or his wife's) name on it.

Day11 - Edited, Change from 5 star to undecided. I had the bedtime, I didn't get up to use restroom 5 times, but question how restful my sleep was.

I am on day 28 of alternating days between 299V and PXN21. The reasons I quit 299V the first time was sleep issues. healthunlocked.com/cure-par...

Clear conflict of interest if what I understand is true. Had to look at it from a different link because my antivirus software would not allow me to access the page which is a clear possibility of danger to your computer and any money accounts you may have.

If author would link to some actual independent science of the components I'm willing to look into it.

Not legitimate sorry. It's all about fleecing the sheep.

My Naturopath was very convinced this was an excellent product and strongly recommended it. I believe as time goes on more science based data will come out. I think it's worth a try to see how it works for you. Everything takes time.

I hope your sleep keeps improving!

Thanks for your reply and your comment about your use.

I do feel the Fatty15 is helping me and I will continue it.

I am currently also taking a supplement (299V, today was Day 28) that I quit once before because of sleep problems. I will stop it again and continue Fatty15. healthunlocked.com/cure-par...

Pantothenic acid vs pentadecanoic acid? A google search only brings up one of the two. What's the difference? Are they the same chemical?

Not the same.

Saying my antivirus blocked is not really fair.

You'll get more unbiased results by googling "pentadecanoic acid" than you will with "Fatty 15." Here's one interesting result; ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

"The gut commensal Parabacteroides distasonis uses inulin to produce the odd-chain fatty acid pentadecanoic acid, which alleviates non-alcoholic steatohepatitis via improved barrier function in mice."

In other words, this gut bacteria uses inulin (a fiber) to produce pentadecanoic acid. And the pentadecanoic acid reduces "leaky gut," which in turn reduces "fatty liver." Now that doesn't necessarily mean that taking pentadecanoic orally will have the same effect as that produced by the microbiome, but it's intriguing.

Also interesting is that this same gut bacteria (Parabacteroides distasonis) is proposed to have a beneficial effect in PD; parkinsonsnewstoday.com/new...

"MRx0005 (Parabacteroides distasonis) and MRx0029 (Megasphaera massiliensis) are two bacterial strains discovered — using 4D pharma’s MicroRx platform — to have potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. The company’s proprietary screening platform identifies potentially beneficial strains based on an understanding of their function and mechanisms. In lab-grown human brain cells and a mouse model of Parkinson’s, both strains were shown to reduce neuroinflammation, including that associated with alpha-synuclein — the protein that accumulates in toxic clumps in Parkinson’s. Both also were shown to protect nerve cells from oxidative stress-induced death."

Unfortunately, it looks like 4D pharma ran into financial troubles and it's not clear the trial ever took place. That's disappointing, but there still seems to be a lot of interest in Parabacteroides distasonis, so perhaps one day we'll have a probiotic for PD and an answer as to whether or not pentadecanoic acid plays a role in it's beneficial effects. In the meantime, I hope the price of Fatty 15 comes down, as it sounds promising but I suspect it might take a while to have an effect, if indeed it does.

"pentadecanoic acid has been shown to suppress liver injury by restoring mitochondrial function and repressing inflammation" (quote from your first link).

I believe I am experiencing some interaction between High Dose Thiamine (HDT) and Fatty15. If Fatty15 does repair Mitochondria as HDT does, it would be logical to have some interaction. (There is a lot of hype on Fatty15 and I haven’t brought into all of it.)

I had return of symptoms (constipation, increase tremor). I am on Day 4 of a B1 break and symptoms are improving.
