Does anyone have a recommendation for a doctor in the bay area who is versed in thiamine use for Parkinsons. My father was diagnosed a year ago, and I have seen great benefits using Thiamine and magnesium in treating my sons PANS, POTS symptoms. Thank you!

If you're not on FB, explore this website, especially the location focusing on b1. Can someone help with some specific locations here?

jenniferwalsey,

Here is a link to a post that I wrote that covers most questions you may have about

HDT/B-1, with many answers directly from Dr. Costantini :

healthunlocked.com/parkinso...

Many forum members are either testing or using HDT/B/1 and will be able to answer some questions for you also. Some of the information contained in the link above may be useful to share with whatever doctor you settle on in the Bay Area. I would think with the diversity of the Bay Area, you should be able to find a neurologist or movement disorder specialist who can work with you.

Good luck!

Hi jennifer, may I ask how old is your son?

and how much of each B1 and magnesium are you giving him?

How long before you can see results?

My daughter is 22 year old and has cerebral palsy. She has dystonia and I think maybe anxiety or some symptoms of B1 & magnesium deficiency. I don't think her previous blood test showed or we might not asked for that.

I saw Dr Costantini's video re dystonia and was impressed. I want to put her on high b1 and some magnesium but don't know how much.

She is not keen to take many supplements esp high dose.

Thanks.

My son is 17. You take 5 time your body weight in magnesium. Remag, magnesium taurate, magnesium malate. Mix it up. Need cofactors of sodium bicarbonate and boron and B6. I give him a Bminus pill by seaking health as he cant handle methyl B12 then every 4 hours I give him half a 100 mg B1 thiamine tablet. In the afternoon around 4pm I give a B2 along with a dose of B1. We want to add in more biotin, and I just read how that is helpful with dystonia.

Thanks jennifer. It sounds like a lot more than just B1 & magnesium. I am not sure she will take it.

Do you use all of those types of magnesium? I have Remag but she doesn't like it. If she has to take it she will take capsule.

How to mix all magnesium up?

what form of sodium bicarbonate? how many mg?

Are boron and B6 separate pills? how many mg each?

is Bminus just B12 or complex? how many mcg?

and B2, how many mg?

Soundslike you give him in total 300mg-400mg B1 per day?

Are you able to give me link to biotin for dystonia please?

Sorry for too many questions and thanks very much for your help, I appreciate it.
