Thank you. I sometimes need to be reminded that my back spasms and my cold, which causes me to sneeze and results in excruciating pain in my back, coupled with the PD symptomns, esp. insomnia, fatigue, pain, depression could be worse...However I know that things will get much worse before I die. And How Are You?
Wow! I'm sorry your so miserable. I too have had a headache now for 4 days with the neck pain to go with it. I'm at work today, I'm a flight attendant, you press on this is your life! I'm going to enjoy my life to the fullest in pain or without it. Don't give into PD! Some friends of ours lost there best friend due cance 2 nights ago, I bet she would take PD over death and b with her family again.. There are worst things and yes I have pain but I'm doing what I can to live my life and enjoy it!
ME ? I AM ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES - I.E NO TREMOR AT ALL .. BUT I CANNOT WALK AT ALL WITHOUT THEHELP OF MY HUSBAND OR A WALKER - WHICH I SOMETIMES FALLOVER !
ALSO I HAVE PAIN MOST OF THE TIME IN MY ARMS SHOULDER AND LEGS BUT I STILLL THINK I AM LUCKIER THAN MOST -
I have had really bad restless legs for the last two days, but I quite agree with lizajane, I have been to work today ( admin in local council ) had to get up and down from my desk feeling like I was walking in mud but had a laugh with my work colleague and for a few hours forgot about my legs. Will go swimming on Thurs it really does make me feel better especially when i get into the spa and pummel my muscles with the jets! Not on any meds yet I will not give in to PD .
Hi Jomc , reality is Pd is crap, I'm sorry to hear your having tough time, when i was diagnosed 3 years ago, I asked cosultant " off days" does that mean I'm down because I've got PD, if so I can deal with that !! But he said " No, you can't avoid it" As a " the glass is always half full" kind of guy this is what I dread most, I believe I can deal with the physical stuff, disapointing as it is, but the mental side, thats differant. In the Uk we have good support which helps. Please keep speaking, never feel alone,
that was one of my off days! I find that if I'm "off" in any way, physically, emotionally or mentally, it affects the other. For example: if I am moving poorly , that depresses me, etc...I guess "IT COULD BE WORSE" works for some people but not me...at least not today!
