Severe Cramping and Diarrhea: Could It Be Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis?

I have severe cramping crises that sometimes lead to fainting, followed by diarrhea (the pain subsides after going to the bathroom). Has anyone been diagnosed with Crohn's or ulcerative colitis with these symptoms? I’ve had many tests, including a colonoscopy, and they tell me there is just inflammation, but I suspect I might have Crohn's.

My issues when flaring don't subside when going to the bathroom. I assume by tests you means Colonoscopy and they've seen inflammation and they took biopsies. If the test is a stool sample which has shown inflammation it may warrant a referral to a Gastroenterologist and then further testing by the above mentioned Colonoscopy, MRI etc

Do not be so quick to diagnose yourself with Crohn's. There is no cure and after suffering from it for over 40 years you do not want it. It is diagnosed after a Colonoscopy which you have had. So you just have to accept what the Doctors say. Your symptoms are just as likely to be Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
