No Granulomas, can it still be Chrons?

Can you have chrons without granulomas? I had a colonoscopy a few weeks ago which found multiple aphthous ulcers and erythema in my terminal ileum. The bisopy results taken showed active inflammation in my terminal ileum and superficial ulcers but no granulomas. I've now been referred for a small bowel MRI but the wait is killing me. Feeling super stressed about it. Also, can IBD cause joint pain and fatigue?

Penny, this comment is off topic a bit I know, but if only the word 'granuloma' had a different connotation, it would make a lovely name for much loved grandma or grandpa! Hope you donn't mind me butting in like this, it just hit me! Take care.
