bloating from Ulcerative colitis

so one of the great symptoms of ulcerative colitis is bloating.. been bloated for about a month now, despite taking my medications. Anyone have any tips on how they deal with bloating ? Id hate to take yet another med for it . Appreciate any advice. Have a great day !

Bloating isn’t a known symptom of colitis, maybe you have IBS as well which does cause bloating but you should get checked for other causes.

As someone already mentioned bloating is not really a symptom of colitis. But in can be related to indigestion, constipation, food intolerance, coeliac disease or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and probably many more things.

I have UC and when I'm bloated it's usually because I ate too much food that day, or snacked too much in between meals. I also take digestive enzymes and probiotics as they can greatly improve my digestion.
