Morning had right hip pain for over a month swelled up like a balloon red painfull on anti biotics 2 weeks took a weeks worth still there yet had x ray results says cant see anything with the bones how can that be when its swelled an red disssapointed ive no answer what do u think it could be please i dont want it again thanks i have crohns on 20mg predisolone an started Azathioprime

I have colitis not Crohns but could it be possible that Aza may have contributed? Meds can play havoc with us, especially at first... also, it could be that as you have IBD, bones and joins are much worse. Another forum (fb crohns and colitis uk one) has posts similar to this so maybe worth giving others a shout who are in your position to see what they did about it.
