Humira delivery/medicine abroad/PLEASE HELP

I'm having a switch in biological treatments.

I'm desperate to find out how many pens/syringes are delivered with humira? Are you simply provided one dose every two weeks, or multiple in advance? I can't find this info anywhere online.

I started Humira in August. The first delivery was 8 pens (4 packs of 2) which covers the initial dose of 4 then 2 then 2 singles. Apparently they automatically contact you when you have used your last pen and arrange delivery of the next 4 pens, so 8 week intervals. They need to be kept in the fridge. Hope that helps!

If you are just away for a few days I think they will deliver to a nominated neighbour. You will get lots of info from the company about these queries, plus a nurse who will come and supervise your initial jabs. She will have all the answers. You can ask for a travel chiller bag for taking pens on short trips.

I was on humira about 4 years ago. Unless things have changed since then you will be given 4 at a time which you keep in the fridge.

hi just started humria you will be given 8 needles per delivery if your going away the best thing to do is phone them and discuss and they will help you
