Problems with Diverticulitis

I have bowel problems after bouts of colitis and difficulty passing a motion. I have tried eating soft dried apricots every morning and that seems to help. However , have awful flatulence all the time. My diverticulitis is quite bad. Can anyone help.

Have you tried eating two Kiwi fruits per day. They certainly made my life easier, although I suffer with Crohn's not Colitis.

Hi I'm new here I have crohns and diverticulitis , I find if I eat foods with skins like apples and large tomatoes plus nuts and seeds can cause me real issues , so I peel apples and eat small cherry or plum tomatoes which are easier to digest and try to avoid nuts and seeds
