Loperamide alternative

I wonder if anyone has tried alternatives to loperamide. I currently live off a cocktail of codeine and loperamide to slow motions to anything near normal. I’ve used this combination for a number of years follow internal pouch surgery.

Are there any good alternatives? Any advice really appreciated.

Thanks

Hey I'd be interested to hear other replies to this, I am undiagnosed awaiting endoscopy and colonoscopy and living off amitriptyline loperamide and bisacodyl. I thought I wasn't in control before, now I definitely am not in control!!!

I found the only thing to stop the flow so I can work is a combination of codeine 60mg twice a day And loperamide. Without it I just don’t manage.
