Has anyone any experience of throat ulcers with Crohns.

I went to ENT today as had sore throat for couple of months, doctor has me panicking as he said it is likely cancer but could be to do with crohns an an apthous ulcer. Appreciate any advice or experience from others. Have had a bad time with Crohns this past year and had to come off Vedulizumab as it was making me worse.

I do have crohn's, not had throat ulcers, but was told a few years back that I could get ulcers anywhere from the throat down, as part of the Crohn's. As it turned out the probs with soreness I was having at the time, was thrush from being very run down!!!

Thanks Sorrelhippo that is what I understood as well, I think the ENT is erring on the side of caution but am sure it will end up just being part of the Crohns Saga.

I have mouth ulcers constant from my crohns i do get them in my throat.

Hi Pidpol, thanks for your reply, this was posted 5 months ago. Since then I have been diagnosed with throat cancer and had two lots of trans oral laser resections done on it. Not good so was not Chrohns ulcers as I had thought.
