Swollen bowel

Hey,

Does anyone else get this? My bowel seems to get really swollen and sore, to the point where I can see it bulging in my stomach, and it feels so swollen and hard.

Anyone else experience this??

Blimey! That doesn't sound good at all and I think you should make an urgent appointment to see your doctor.

Hi, sorry for late reply. I can get bloated depending on what Iv eaten. You can also get extremely bloated with IBS. Did you get faecal calrotectin results back - Iv also just read your previous post and sorry for not replying, I missed it somehow x

Hiya, yeah calprotectin was raised. Have had awful pain for a few days now. Been trying to get off tramadol or least decrease my dose but haven’t really been able to! Thanks so much for replying! How r u doing just now? Xx

just getting over a flare myself - hence not being on here for few weeks. Feeling so much better now tho

Have you been referred to a gastroenterologist for a colonoscopy? If calprotectin was raised you really need further tests x
