Flu Jab advice to everyone

Hi everyone,

I would like to encourage everyone to have the flu jab if you can, especially if you are on biologics or immunosuppressant medications.

There have been reports of worse side effects this year and its thought to be because of the vaccine containing four strains. The most commonly reported side effects of flu vaccines are: pain, swelling or redness at the injection site, slightly high temperature, headache, feeling generally unwell, shivering, or tiredness. The inactivated flu vaccine does not contain any live viruses and cannot give you flu.

I got the flu jab 3 strains over 3 weeks ago. I'm afraid to say I took an adverse reaction to it and really thought I wasn't going to be well again. I took very high fevers coughs (my asthma played up much more) extreme pains sickness and weakness. I feel great now though. Never again for me I'm afraid.
