Hi everyone,

I’ll start my story from the beginning.

I have always been ill and always suffered with debilitating cramps, low energy, sickness, constipation, etc.

When I was 17 I finally thought “maybe this is more than ‘ibs’” and started complaining to the dr.

I went through gastro and had the usual tests (sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopy etc). The colonoscopy was so bad I was screaming in pain after double the sedative but nothing was found.

At age 20 I was diagnosed with endometriosis and it all made sense. I’ve had several surgeries since.

During op no. 4 they found endo on my lower left side bowel and higher right side bowel. They couldn’t tackle it so I waited a year for a colorectal surgeon.

During that time I was hospitalised constantly with constipation/blockage and lived off a liquid diet.

The endo on the bowel was removed in August 17, but I’ve since had the above symptoms plus a new addition of sharp rightside pain that eases when I push it in.

The drs are convinced they took all the endo and tbh I don’t have any other endo symptoms desperate to the bowel stuff. I have been rereffered to gastro too.

What’s really strange is that I’ve noticed when I am ill my eye also become inflamed!

I feel like I have ibd symptoms but the colonoscopy ruled that out. Could it be wrong? (It was about 9/10 years ago if not more)

if its IBD the pain would not be relieved when you press it in, it would be a dam site worse. Ask your dr to send a feacal calprotectin if your NHS Trust does them. Have you had your inflammatory markers checked recently? Also are you experiencing any other symptoms x
