I was told the FC test takes about two weeks. Maybe the result will go straight to your gastro consultant. Or was it a GP request?

Yes it does sound normal, I work as a Medical Secretary in colorectal surgery and at our Hospital it's usually 3-4 weeks wait for those results I'm afraid

GP request. He is doing colonoscopy anyway. Thank you both for your help!

My son who is 11 years old, was diagnosed with UC at 7 years old, has his results usually within 2 days. (His Pedi GI might be rushing the results due to his age.)
