Hello everyone.

I have UC...

It has been a year of flare ups but my inflammation markers are down at last due to humera injections .

I need help with the urge incontinence though .

Any suggestions ?

Hi pablo, I have Crohn's/colitis. I am taking Humira, only since 7th of may.i have a colostomy bag. I hope someone can help you out with your question. If you don't get much response then go onto Instagram and look for our life with Crohn's. It's a massive forum, very active. Post your question and you will get plenty of replys. It can take a few hours for your post to be put on there. Lots of people on there with UC too. Take care.

how long have you been on Humira? it may take a few weeks/months to get everything calmed down and 'healthy' (as much as can be) then hopefully the urge incontinence should improve. it took about 3 months before I found a difference and further 3 months until it practically stopped. hope it works for you too

I have been on humira about 2months and I am up and about which is great .

My issue is the urge incontance now but there is also fake urge toilet visits where I don't pass any stool .

Did you have these fake urges and did your urge incontance go completely

I am mentally worried about leaving the house although I feel better , I still fear the incontance which has happened.

yeah and I still get fake urges but not very often. I have only had 1 episode of incontinence in last 3 months but that was more likely due to eating rich food.

You may want to take a look at Rectal P!ugs if things are really bad ref the incontinence.

Consultant has given me a suppository and Imodium, seams to be working .
