First run of week 2 done today, the shins are easying up a bit since I started doing a few excercises on the days I don't run.

hi, well done on starting week two, that's what I will be doing Monday,

what exercises have you been doing on the days between runs?

Reading back my blog, easying up haha. Easing up. After my first run my shins absolutely killed, and again on second run. Became slightly worried as have read not to run and rest for two weeks, this obviously was a no no for me, I've only just started. So found these excercises after googling shin splints, where you walk on heals for one minute and then on toes, do this three times a day. It could be pure coincidence but no pain at all today.
