Well, felt like two ton Tessy lumbering round the park this morning...one of the hardest runs I've done, but but but, that's it...week nine run three!! Elated!! So happy and proud of myself. Now onwards and upwards to slowly build to the 5k....3/4 of the way there so I think my adding a couple of minutes per run or per week will get me there in about four to five weeks....Not even thinking about speed, just want that distance so I can do my local park run. That target should keep me going!

Congratulations Barbyk, I think the majority of us don't manage the distance on the graduation run, it's the time that's important and you've done it, run for 30 minutes non stop! Congratulations again!

Congratulations Barbyk, job well done. Don't worry about the 5K the majority don't manage it in 30 minutes to start with, it will come. I'm delighted to see you are going to do your local Parkrun, its a smashing thing to do to improve on your times. I had never run with anyone until I did my first parkrun, I was all of a gitter, not sure if I would manage it, but what the heck you just have to try sometime I thought. Good luck with your running but most of all keep on enjoying it, thats the important thing. :) Don't forget to send Admin a message to get your lovely well earned GRADUATE badge. :) Your the 2nd one I've said that to this morning, we're on a roll.
