Staying in a hotel with a gym tonight.
So did Week 4 Run 1 on the treadmill. However wasn't sure what speed to put it on to replicate my outside speed for a 'light jog'.
I went for 7.5km/hr in the end.
How do your treadmill speeds compare?

I find treadmill running very different from outside, don't like it very much to be honest. I try and aim to get up to 9.5Km per hour which gives me about 4K in 30 minutes but I do have to build up very gradually, then slow down very slowly too or I fall over when it stops!! Duh No wonder I don't like the is it?!?!
W1 I tried 7, 7.5 and 8 kph but W2 settled on 7 but a calf twinge has put a temporary stop on my running... also look out for mph vs kph treadmills to avoid any nasty surprises!
Thanks for replies.
When I started on the Tredmill I was going at 6.5km/hr.
Seems as if my 7.5km/hr is middle ground which I expected. Thanks for replies.
I don't know km/hr, but on the treadmill I run at 6.3-6.4mph. I'm not that quick outdoors, though!
I do 7.5 as well, but I like to get up to 8.
Woooo! You're all very speedy! Not that I run on a treadmill, so perhaps that would speed me up, but outside I go at between 5 and 6kph. Good and slow (and injury free so far!)
When I run on the treadmill I use 7km/hr for the walks and either 9 or 10km/hr for the runs - but I definitely don't reach those speeds when running outdoors!
I wonder if height has anything to do with it - I've seen in this and some other similar questions that for some people 7km/hr is a jog, whereas for me it's definitely a brisk walk - possible because I'm fairly tall so my stride on the treadmill is a bit longer? It's certainly not because I'm fast!
