Hi, do any of you run in the LA22 area as my running buddy has hurt her leg and so can no longer keep me motivated!!
Well, I'm nowhere near there (I think from the map you're in the Lake District - or are you Los Angeles?!), but why not use this forum to keep you motivated? It's all I've been using, and it has worked really well so far. Whereabouts are you in the programme?
Don't worry about not having a running buddy unless of course you are in an area were its not safe to jog alone. In my opinion (and only mine) I would have found it quite hard to run in the early days with another person. I'm small, I'm older and I'm asthmatic and have to go at my pace and no one elses. If I had tried to go too fast too soon I would never have graduated.
But whatever you do, stay safe, stay in touch here you will get loads of incouragement from us and good luck for the rest of the programme.
