Matil and I got up at 5.45am this morning to complete the run. My hips ached (very bizarre) and Mati managed to attract a fab blister and a few aches but we completed the run.
Had breakfast and a cup of tea all before 7am.
Not sure how I will feel later but here is to R3!

5.45??!! Flippin' eck... I've never been an early-riser person so that sounds like torture to me! Well done though.
I guess the hip ache may just be down to the fact of them doing something they're not used to but if that continues it might be best to take an extra rest day between runs. I know I had a period when everything ached, but it didn't last more than a day or two and I don't have any real problems now.
Well done! I admire anyone getting up that early for a run! I just wrote a note to your wife about the blister suggesting what a salesperson mentioned to hubby (smhall) and myself. The first few weeks found Steve and I moving at a turtles pace and sharing ice packs and ointment! Our muscles didn't know what to think of this running business! Just as all of us our built differently, it is amazing how each run will affect us differently. Just starting out, I had serious thigh pain while Steve had calf pain etc. Well done in getting out there and wishing the two of you a great run 3!!! Gayle
