OMG those last ten minutes of these 25 minute runs almost kill me!! At the 15 minute stage I am gasping for air and hoping that someone has left an oxygen tank (or two) beside the next tree. It wouldn't take much for me to stop at this point but only my own stubborness keeps me going. Well not today!!! Just as I got to "I cannot juffle anymore" over my headphones came Rise Against's "Hero of War", which is one of my favourite songs. When it finished I thought it is only about seven minutes left so you can do it. And I did. Definitely mind over body at this stage of C25K.

Well done! It amazing how much music can boost your mood. I've heard of Rise Against, not sure I know any of their songs though. I'm more into my grunge- I feel that it would be rude to stop running before Mike McCready finishes his solo :D

Good luck for your first 25 minute run. You are wise to rest your knees as you don't want to cause a serious injury especially at this stage.

Well done for finding the mental toughness to keep going! You will get there, don't worry. If necessary slow down just a little - you will make it!
