Christmas Eve and first 10kms!

Hello fellow runners, well I promised myself I'd achieve two things before the New Year and I've done them both. 5km in just under 30 minutes last week and then this afternoon my first 10kms. I'm sorry about your terrible weather in the UK, but here in Paris it was clear and 13° this afternoon. Perfect weather to run around in a t-shirt! I managed to finish in 1 hour, 4 minutes and 40 seconds (so the lime green Garmin tells me) and I'm really chuffed!

Now its time to getting down to finishing the preparation of the Christmas feast as we celebrate it here on Christmas Eve. I won't have time to look in at all your Christmas running blogs - I can't even look in at the website until tomorrow - but wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a fine year of running in 2013.

That is great, your 2012 goals are my 2013 goals and I hope to do as well as you did. Merry Christmas!

Same here, jcm13. Will be very happy if I've achieved both goals by this time next year! Congrats, nevertoolate! Hope you both have a lovely Christmas. :)

Merry Christmas morning to you all! I hope you have a lovely day wherever you are and that you achieve all your goals for 2013. We had the Christmas feast last night so I'm feeling as though I ought to go out and run it off. After yesterdays effort I don't think I can! Ah well, 2013 will bring lots of opportunities to shed those extra pounds. I'll be thinking of you all out running and/or walking today.
