Knee pain still there, even causing problems with stairs. Orthopaedic referral has been made. Only consolation is that because I can't run, and thus can't use the treadmill, we have somewhere to put the Christmas tree!!
5 weeks and still not running :(: Knee pain... - Couch to 5K
5 weeks and still not running :(
I can sympathise - had to stop for four weeks due to ankle pain. Fortunately for me it didn't mean a referral. Though it's still not 100% I am able to run and the dr said it would be ok. Hope get sorted soon and back out running. Bet the Christmas tree looks good though!!

How frustrating, hope they manage to sort it out for you. Hope the tree looks good and Santa brings you some running cheer
Sorry to hear Caro. I too have injured my left knee, avoiding a pesky dog rusdhing at me at the end of my first stamina run on 5+. I was so tired anyway that I must have twisted the knee and tore a ligament. I saw the osteopath, as because of compensation, my lower back on the right side was suffering. I was doing the exercises i always have been for back problems, but he showed me a couple more and treated it, which helped a lot. Mt hubby now has to physio my knee for me 3x a day-it hurts like blazes, but it is helping.
All I can advice is R.I.C.E and rest the leg as much as possible-not easy this time of the year.
Do hope you get your referral soon.
At least you have some compensations with the Christmas tree in its rightful place, lol!!
