I am just completing wk9. (Slowly!). I want to... - Couch to 5K
I am just completing wk9. (Slowly!). I want to improve to my own soundtrack. Any suggestions for good running music?
Try jog.fm - where you can input your desired pace and it comes up with suggestions at the right BPM so you can build a play list.
This one's good too to find out the bpm of your favourite songs:
But actually for my own playlists I just use fairly upbeat music that I like, not worrying too much about keeping to the beat. Then I do - when I'm not sidelined like I am with my wonky knee atm - one run with Speed, one with Stamina and one or two with my own music, and keep alternating them.
Happy running!
I do the same as Mitts. I use tracks with a decent beat but that I either love and can sing along to in my head (don't have enough breathe to sing out loud!!) or that make me think of a great night out etc so that I am thinking of that while I am running.
Granted it doesn't always get me through the whole song but it works a treat. Good luck !!
Since graduating I keep buying stuff from audiofuel.
I did my first 2 hour run using Run Free

And just started Interval training today using the Power Up 2012 interval training.

I think the mp3s are worth every penny!
Don't stop me now by Queen gets me going... Guaglione by Perez Prado and his orchestra (The Guiness advert) makes me laugh and has a good warming up beat.
