W9r3 Completed - I've Graduated Whoohoo

From doing w1 twice because I actually couldn't run more than 100mtrs to graduating w9 and able to run 30mins non stop: Thank You one and all for keeping me going.

This morning was The Morning and instead of being crisp and sunny, as I'd hoped for this run, it was dank, misty and dull - a day for staying in bed, even if I had already had an extra hour :-). I didn't manage to get in the zone and it was hard work but with everyone's help and the mantras "one foot in front of the other / Laura says you are ready" I got there. Boy then it felt good and my grinning red face looming out of the gloom would have scared anyone out in this weather so early. Luckily? I met no one at all for the whole 44mins I was out there.

Looking forward to my new running world. So many plans to make.

Thank you everyone and especially Laura and the NHS c25k.

Thanks - celebration chocolate tasted good (and still less calories eaten than used)!

Thank you. It is a brilliant feeling. I wasn't totally unfit, just could not run (had tried on and off for years, even bought books but somtimes you have to wait for something to 'click') and now with Laura and the help of this forum it has and I can, it's fantastic.

Good luck to you on your c25k journey.

Well done Annie, I had to repeat W1 too but hopefully after 2 more runs I'll be able to join the celebrations too :o)

This really is an amazing programme and I think my friends and colleagues are fed up of me banging on about it but it is the first exercise plan that has actually made good on its claims.

Thanks. Look forward to seeing your graduation blog soon.

I know what you mean about spreading the word. I sometimes stop myself from making yet another comment about the programme.

Many congrats Annie - fantastic post! I "finished" yesterday too - "" because I'm still not at 5km so that is my next goal!! But well done you - and with such enthusiasm :-)

Thanks and congratulations to you too.

I think enthusiasm is another byproduct of the programme: have a purpose, get fitter, achieve goals = enthusiasm. Mind you first post grad run tomorrow night that will be an enthusiasm test!
