Not been posting much the last couple of weeks; calf niggling me every other run so I've stepped back on the intervals/pace and hill runs etc and just trying to get out there in any way I can to keep up my cardio fitness. It's disappointing as I was starting to gain some real speed on some of my runs but needs must. Better to go slow now than not at all later!
I deliberately didn't run last Sunday; did 40 mins in the Fitness Suite on Monday, ran on Wednesday (5 miles) didn't run Friday but did half an hour on my OH's exercise bike burning 330 calories. Rest day yesterday, then did this today: connect.garmin.com/activity...
I could feel the calf still, but nothing TOO horrendous. I'm trying to keep the cardio up to two and a half hours a week (as per NHS guidelines) so I've made that amount this week. Also seem to have managed to drop to 129 pounds as of today (I've been 133 for many months and thought my body had pegged itself to that weight as its ideal but seemingly all I needed to do was up the exercise more!).
Anyway, onwards and upwards...
