Any advice on trail running please? Never done it but fancy giving it a go. Also anyone in Aberdeen can tell me where to go as a novice?

Hi Angel you could try Bennachie, Hill of Fayre, Banchory, back of Scolty, there really are loads of places it just depends on if you want a little hill or a darn big one thrown into the trail.

OS map would be needed too if you don't know the areas. To start with you could wonder your way through the forest tracks at Hazlehead up behind the golf club thats where I run quite a lot.

Thanks Oldgirl. Need to start with "easier" ones so will do Hazlehead. Am also fairly close to the Gramps so thought would give that a go too.

You could have a look at the forest tracks at the top of the Tyre Bagger (Inverurie Rd) too, there could be some good running trails up there. Also Durris. Enjoy
