Week 2 Run1

There really is nothing better than being out in the fresh air on an early morning run :-)

So today was my 2nd attempt at week2 and yay I managed run1 and felt good, made sure I did plenty of stretches when I got back home. The last time I tried wk2 my legs really hurt but one of the members on here directed me to the livestrong website for advice and I now incorporate the advice about stretching into my run routine.

Next run tuesday after work and Im soooo looking forward to it :-)

    I found that drinking a little beforehand and walking to the park before doing the 5 minute warm up (so extra 5 minutes) and walk home after cool down helped to stop the aches. I think some of us just take longer to warm up/cool down :-p

  • I too find stretching and walking longer before and after to help. Great job on getting into week2!!!
