Being excited about it is definitely better than being scared about it. You'll also handle it much better being in a positive state of mind and you'll enjoy the challenge much more too.

Good for you! Being excited is defiantly a positive and will help you along on the run. Best of luck, you can do it

oh gosh, I'm doing w5r2 tonight and have r3 in the diary for Friday and it's safe to say I'm bricking it! Wish i had your excitement about it! Though on the other hand I am very curious to know if I can do it! On tonight's run I will be testing the route I plan to do for the third run so maybe after that, I'll feel more excited! Good luck for tomorrow and let us know how it goes!
Not at all - or I am weird too! Once I'd got past W5R2, which really scared me, that boosted my confidence for R3, and I think because of that state of mind, I really enjoyed it (hard though it definitely still was!!). Pace yourself, and enjoy it, don't focus too much on the time, just on the road - Good luck, see you on the other side for Week 6!

I am into week 6 now and can honestly say to all of you: YOU CAN DO IT! I went from not being able to run 1 minute to running 20 solid! Keep a slow steady pace, drink fluids that day and remember, even if your mind says no...physically, your body is ready...weeks 1 through 4 prepared you for this run! In the words of Laura: OFF YOU GO!
Looking forward to updates!
Good luck for tomorrow. I'll be doing run 3 Wk5 tomorrow too. Looking forward to seeing how you got on. No you're not weired, I'm looking forward to it too
