I used the Speed Podcast for the first time this morning and although I have been doing interval training myself for some time now this was a lovely change cos I was no longer alone, I had Laura keeping me company. I managed to keep in time with the beat no bother but I do need to lengthen my stride when doing the faster pace. I've known that this was a problem I have as I shortened my stride to protect my hip after my bad sciatica episode in January. Will be doing this at least once a week, it gave me a good workout.

Have you tried the strength and flex podcast yet? That might be good for your hip, I tried it inside, at home and it's good.
Haven't tried the strength one yet Gridlet, will give it a go next week perhaps. I want to try and see if I can do 10K this week. Have managed 8.4K the last time I did a long run (last week) and had hoped to try 10K before now but I've been glued to the darn TV late at night, I'm quite relieved the Olympics are finished
I did it for the first time today too, enjoyed it and will keep it up I think
Well done crimer. I had been doing my own interval training for some time and have managed to knock about 4 minutes off 5K runs. But I have to say it was lovely to Laura back with me to keep me company. I think I work better when someone is telling me when to go faster/slower etc. cos I do lose track of time quite easily. Its an age thing I think
