I did it! After a week filled with bad news (2 deaths in the family) I had plenty of emotion to burn off and boy did I.
I did run 2 with hubby on Wednesday and then Friday rolled around and I set off on my own for the 25 min run. I wasn't scared like I was with week 5's big run and felt confident.
There was a bit of a moment half way when I thought I might have to walk but I told myself if I could do 1 more minute I could stop but by the time that minute passed I was back in the zone and able to carry on.
I'm not going to be able to run properly again until Saturday now but hopefully I'll be doing a couple of week 3 runs with my son again before then.

That must have been awful for you so well done on even going out and doing the runs. The worse two runs of the programme for me have been week 6 runs 1 and 2 . I loved week 7 and 8 and will hopefully start week 9 tomorrow. Good luck with the rest of the programme. xxx
What an awful week you've had but good on you for still getting out there. Sending you my condolences on the loss of your loved ones...thinking of you.
