I've done the "report" thing 2 or 3 times, but it feels a bit pointless, tbh ... hope something can be done, as it IS annoying!

I've wondered about this before, as it is really annoying. I tend to report them all when I see them as it just takes a second, but tbh I don't think I've looked back to see if they disappear. If the user/IP was blocked I'm sure they'd just find a way around it pretty quickly - what about setting it up so that posts with certain key words in need to be approved by admin before they can be seen? We don't need to be aware what the key words are, but its pretty easy to pick a few out from the ad that wont affect that many legit posts. I realise it will make more work for the admins, but it will probably tail off after a little while when someone gets the message that they are not welcome here and will not be tolerated.

I can assure you HealthUnlocked are aware of the issue and doing everything they can as we know's it's very annoying. It's not as easy as blocking a range of IP addresses as they're ever changing and it is easy to get around. We know it is a single user that is responsible but it's devilishly difficult to stop without pre-moderating posts, which will annoy everyone even more.

If anyone reports a spam post it will disappear so all I can say for the moment is either ignore them or report them.
