That's a good photo Ian, it reminds me of where I went last Monday, I walked past St Andrews University, the bells were ringing for the students Graduating Day and I saw many graduate students with their robes on being photographed, good luck to all of them and the graduates here on C25K.
Hello, I did my final run today and I am still shocked that I can now run for 30 mins without stopping it is amazing how this 9 week program works. I would really love my graduation badge please and thank you for your support in this group. It has given me help and advice when I have needed it.
Well, itβs taken me 19 weeks rather than 9, but I finally completed Week 9 Run 3 on Thursday. I still canβt quite believe it. I would love the graduation badge to remind me of my achievement. Thank you.
Well, I still canβt quite believe that I got there, but I completed C25K on 26th June and am still shocked that I have turned myself into βa runnerβ!
I am continuing to progress, as this is just the beginning of the journey, so I am now working on feeling comfortable with that half hour run, improving my technique with tips and info that I have picked up from this forum and then will look at progressing to the magic milestone of a full 5K - all in good time!
I wonβt lie to youβ¦I have always hated the thought of running, though nobody ever told me that it shouldnβt be as hard as I was making it - sprinting when I should have been at a slow trot, barely breaking out of a walk to begin with. C25K should be something that everyone does, to learn just how achievable this is, with a sensible plan in place - I really do wish that I had learnt this at school age, so that I could always have been able to turn to running as a form of exercise and valuable wellbeing time spent alone with my music.
Thank you to the programme developers - you really have changed my lifestyle for the better!
Congratulations on completing it . ππππ
Here is your well deserved badge !
Hi x I was on week 7 run 3 this morning and ran for 30 minutes instead of the 25 as stated x should I contact you again when I have repeated this on Wednesday and Friday next week to get my badge? Is this allowed even though I wonβt have got to week 9 as I will be running 30 minutes already? As it has taken me so long to gain confidence and motivation to do this - I really want my badge of honour!
And you've given me loads of good advice along the way so thanks for helping me get here, the end of one challenge but definitely the beginning of the next. π
Bit of a weird one to finish as I took my earbuds out due to wind noise and that stopped both Strava and the C25K app. So I carried on with my route and it Looks like I ran for approx 35 mins!
Hi there, I graduated this morning My run was good, I felt comfortable, able to breathe easily and I even managed the 60 sec sprint at the end. I am going to keep Jo Wiley close by for the next few runs as I've loved the guidance and support. Thank you for this wonderful platform of kindness, care and awesome advice, I promise to stay in touch. Samantha
