Today was supposed to be my 2nd run but I am not going to make it. I have mild lower back degeneration. There are times I can not move because of my back. The running flared up the pain. I am not giving up!! It is just going to take a little longer. I may have to cut the running back to 30 secs at a time and work myself up to the full 60.

Oh, Marbar, I'm sorry to hear that ... please do take care of yourself! I don't know if you saw my other post to you, but I think I said what I'm doing at the moment, which is running every other minute slot at the moment, thus giving myself 4 minutes recovery walking in between. It worked really well this morning, as I was able to complete the full podcast - when I tried to do the 1 min run/90 second walk on Monday, I had to give up entirely halfway through!
When you feel ready to try again, perhaps you might think about trying this ... and still only doing the 30 seconds if that feels enough for you. Good luck, and feel better soon!
